REVIEW: Say You Still Love Me - K.A. Tucker

Writer: SharnSharn

Not your average love story

Meet Piper – a high powered female executive who isn’t about to let anyone stand in her way. Piper is struggling to find her footing in her father’s company and coming off the heels of a broken engagement. Cue Kyle – a rugged blue-collar dreamboat. This isn’t the first time these two have crossed paths; Kyle and Piper shared a blissful summer of love 13 years ago. As their worlds collide again, they must decide if their teenage love can survive in their harsh adult world.

Okay, I’ll be the first to say that I have repeatedly stated that ‘romances are not for me,’ however, I think I need to edit that statement. I adored this love story; Tucker has developed complex characters that extend past their love stories. Piper has her own life and her own problems outside of her relationship and I think that really makes the characters and story more real for me. I, especially, loved reading about such a strong female. I can confidently say that I will be reading more K.A. Tucker in the future and I think I will be expanding my reading of romance-centric novels.
